Descriptif de l’article - The Republic of China was founded in 1912 and it governed mainland China until 1949, when it lost the mainland during the Chinese Civil War and withdrew to Taiwan. In 1937 in the 26th Year of the founding of the Republic, “Liberty Bonds” were issued in denominations of $5, $10, $50, $100, $1,000, and the $10,000.
To our best knowledge no more than 6 examples of the $10,000 denomination has been reported on the market in about 40 years.
The set of 6 denominations of the $5 ,$10, $50, $100, and the rare $10,000 is sometimes referred to as an “ Master Excalera”, suite, or set.
